After watching "Don't get done, get Dom" thismorning, I'm now thinking we should have haggled in Cotswolds! Next time I think I'll give it a go...anyone else ever sucessfully haggled for anything (walking related or not)?

Hi Deb! Thanks for your comment and for reading! There certainly are lots of public footpaths around once you start looking for them...all you need is a good map and you can make your own walks! Good luck for June...hope all goes well, let us know if you come across any good tips/advice.
Happy walking!

Hi,
Just wanted to let you know that I've been enjoying your blog. We (me and 3 others) are walking C2C in June. So, we're trying to do training walks every weekend, and pouring over websites to read reviews of waterproofs, walking poles, and such. Sound familiar? We envy your access to what look to be lovely training walks. We just don't have the walking paths in Canada that the UK seems to. So, we've been doing city walks (the city being Toronto). Not many ups and downs, but you do experience your city quite differently when you walk right across it. Once the snow goes, we'll be heading out to the countryside looking for hills.
